I grew up in a small village, the house on the far end, with vast woods behind it. Even though it was somewhat scary to me as a child, I felt present and peaceful when a storm was coming: observing the trees in the last rays of sunlight, creaking in the wind, waiting for the storm. Mesmerized by the perfect mystery.

Toxic exaryum is known for its complex scent - its petals smell intensely sweet and musky, almost to a point of smelling artificial and chemical, with sour undertones reminiscent of stale, yeasty fermentation. Bulbous growths that develop on the flower's stem drop to the earth, releasing acidic compounds into the ground as they decompose. This discourages other species from taking root, turning the surrounding environment barren.

Autoelastic Superpositions One is an artwork from the series of ongoing explorations into physically based simulations on hard surface materials. With the movement internalised, the car doesn’t move in space, but in itself. It makes us wonder: what does the future hold for it? This car has been through a lot.

When I created this piece in 2019, the most acute and concerning virus seemed to be mankind itself. That focus dramatically shifted on a global scale just two weeks after. In this piece, the “Homo Influenza” Virus is shown as an entity with its own logic and intrinsic energy. It moves organically and smoothly, yet changes direction quickly, following an inner impulse. The viewer's gaze follows the languid movements of the virus. The clinical background sets the physical boundaries for this virus in the setting - it is under our observation for now. In "Homo Influenza", the viewer has entered a hazardous environment, pacified by the eerie music. This artwork took on the viral form itself and continued spreading to be seen nearly 100 million times across the internet. The accompanying music was composed for the piece by the artist himself.

WEATHER THE STORM, inspired by classical paintings, explores feelings of being overwhelmed. To "weather the storm" is to deal with a difficult situation without being greatly harmed or damaged.
